Actually before, I don't have any time to do things I wanna do, maybe due to studies and my parents. They always forbid me to go out frequently, mingle with other people and try extraordinary things. Well now I think it's my time to explore the whole world without any restrictions and undress the too much self-reserved attitude that envelopes me.
I came up with the blog name "FelicitousGalaera" for two reasons. First, we had a Puerto Galera vacation last 2010 and I named its photo album at FB as "Galaera sa Galera", so i just inherit "galaera". Second, I was reviewing synonyms for some English terms for my TOEFL exam and luckily amazed with word "felicitous" which means Happy.
Hence, Galaera from Tagalog root word "Gala" which means love to go to different places or to travel; and a suffix "-era" which means a woman/girl. This interprets how I'm so much in love about exploring different places I haven't been before. And that's the story behind "FelicitousGalaera".
I want to inspire my readers not just because of the places and adventures I am going to share, but to tell the whole world that it's not yet too late to be free and do what to want to do that will simply inspire others to do great things.
"Gala" doesn't have to be luxurious and expensive. It has just to be fun and well appreciated!
